Our client, a pioneer in their space with innovative technology, state of the art solutions and an impressive customer base has recently been recognized as a company to watch. They are experiencing record success and growth and need to expand quickly. We are looking for multiple Strategic Account Managers across the US. This is a hunter position where you hold on to the account once sold.
The role of the Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM) is to introduce and sell the full suite of SCM, WMS, and Logistics solutions to a target and select list of named accounts. It is expected that this person will leverage their creativity and problem solving skills to create interest and demand for the solutions. It is expected that this person have a track record of penetrating and capturing net new business with Fortune 500 accounts selling across the organization from the C suite to end-user level. This individual should be comfortable working in a dynamic team and customer oriented environment where everyone works to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction adhering to their philology of Customer First.
The Ideal candidate will have:
Documented Success selling an intangible solution or “one-off” solution – Software or Services
Documented success penetrating Fortune 500 accounts – navigating complex organizational structures. 
Documented success selling for an  early stage start up
Strong Rolodex of Contacts to leverage your way in and open doors
Domain Expertise in: Supply Chain, WMS, Logistics, Distribution, or ERP
Consultative/Probing Selling Skills i.e., SPIN (Situation, Problem, Implementation & Needs) Selling methodology
Ability to develop Strategic Account Plans for each named account and execute on the strategy for each.
Demonstrate creativity i.e., penetrating accounts, creating interest and demand, selling
Demonstrate problem solving–working with customers to see the vision
Demonstrate an Ability to sell Value and a business case/ROI over price
Demonstrate Strong Relationship Building skills in a High Touch customer environment
Team Player – jump in and “Do whatever it takes” attitude, wear many hats
Comfortable in a dynamic, ever changing environment with high expectations
Proficient Developing Sales Tools, presentations and selling in person and through technology
Proficient using sales tools i.e., SugarCRM, WebEx, Skype
Formal Sales Training in Large Account Management (preferred)
Degreed in Business, Math, Science, Computer Science or similar discipline
Comfortable working from a home based office
Flexible to travel to assigned accounts as needed
Able to provide Customer Recommendations/references, pass a background check, drug testing, and criminal check and produce verification of earnings if requested.
